The Riverview

Simsbury, CT
3.10.17

Jennifer & Andrew celebrated their union on a snowy Friday in March at the glamorous Riverview in Simsbury, CT. Luckily the snow was more picturesque than it was a headache. The wind though.... BRUTAL.
Despite mother nature trying her  hardest to throw some curveballs our way the day went perfectly. Steffanie and I met with the girls at Jennifer's parents house in Granby, CT. The house was abuzz with energy as the girls took part in putting together white hydrangea bouquets and centerpieces that came out amazing.
Kelly, from Larissa Lake & Co. did a great job with makeup as Jennifer sat quietly wearing a t-shirt with the slogan, "Pop the champagne I'm changing my last name."
A family friend Rachel did the girls hair.
While the snow slowed and the sun started to pop through the clouds Jennifer got into her dress and bravely walked out into the snow for some great outdoor pictures(thankfully she had an awesome pair of high heeled boots for the occasion).
Meanwhile the boys made their way to the Riverview where we tortured them with a few outdoor pictures as well. Needless to say the boys didn't handle the cold as well as the girls did!

Jennifer looked stunning in her Maggie Sottero dress as her father escorted her down the aisle. The rest of the girls also looked beautiful in their classic full length black dresses. The ceremony was personal and touching with a good balance of humor.
Jennifer and Andrew were introduced into their first dance and shared a few moments alone on the floor before DJ Sal, from AfterHours encouraged everyone to join them as the song Hold On from Michael Buble' finished out.
Brother and bestman Sam, delivered tales of what can only be described as waterboarding and other forms of torture growing up with his brother Andrew. Somehow he made it seem endearing and more importantly funny to those listening, especially Andrew.
Matron of Honor Heather, shared more touching stories of Jennifer than Sam did of Andrew. She did however get some deserved laughs of her own including the story of Jennifer and Andrews first date. Jennifer was nervous and introduced herself to Andrew as Andrew.  Andrew admitted it was then that he knew that she was the one.

We were so honored to have had a share in this day. We would like to thank Jennifer, Andrew, the bridal party and the family for your support and cooperation.
Now onto the real reason why you're all here, the pictures!
