What to say about Bill and Christine? They are funny, kind, and have rockstar attitudes. There was no doubt in my mind that the atmosphere at this wedding would be fun and energetic.
Let me just say it absolutely did not disappoint!
A little background on these two love birds. Bill proposed very sweetly and simply in their living room 4 years ago in October of 2012.  A year later Bill and Christine exchanged vows with just a few people present.  September 24th was all about getting to celebrate those vows with all of their close friends and family as witnesses and of course a chance to have an amazing party! Bill being the romantic he is "re-proposed" before an engagement shoot we did a number of months back.

We started off the "vow renewal" day at Rockland park just down the street from the Carousel Museum in Bristol, where we did a "first look" and Bill showed off his natural modeling skills as we quickly toured around.

Once at The Carousel Museum we were ready for the ceremony. ( A side note, Paula Abdul also hosted her reception at the museum back in the day!)
From their first visit to the museum, both Bill and Christine knew it was the perfect place for them. They are both big kids at heart, and the museum evoked in them the carefree feelings of being at an amusement park. No surprise that Bill and Christine's honeymoon will be celebrated at the happiest place on earth, Disney!
The carousel museum is also home to the CT firemans museum. This made it even more special for the couple because Bill's dad was a volunteer firefighter for many years, and was even chief of the Clinton VFD.
Plus it has a working carousel that both kids and adults alike got to enjoy during cocktail hour.

The ceremony was very personal as their close friend Peter was the officiant. Christine and Bill exchanged their own handwritten vows. Naturally Christine's were sweet and touching, and Bill's sweet with a little humor thrown in for good measure. (I did love that he vowed to never shave his beard!)
Once the couple were introduced upstairs in the banquet room the reception began with such an amazing first dance and followed up with some fantastic toasts.
After an amazing buffet of down home food like mac salad and pulled pork sliders, DJ Anthony Apuzzo from Digital Tracks Entertainment did a great job getting the party started and kept everyone going right to the very end.

In the end it was about celebrating the love of these two soulmates. It's been a pleasure working with Christine and Bill from the very first time I met them. You would be hard pressed to find more genuinely nice people and I hope to keep in touch with them for many years to come.
