We thrive on the ability to explore and photograph new spots.  Especially ones that hold a special place in the hearts of the couples we work with. 
So I was very excited when Marybeth mentioned using her grandfather's farm as the backdrop for her and Joe's engagement session. 
The 200 acre spread located in Woodstock, Connecticut is spacious and neatly kept. The rolling hills at sunset were breathtaking and provided that magical glow that gives the images a punch. 
If we could control the timeline of every shoot, and wedding, it would be at this perfect time of day. 

Marybeth and Joe are such a sweet, down to earth couple! 
Like every couple we work with, they were so nervous. Marybeth's mom tagged along to calm nerves. 
Nothing settles nerves like playing all of our stupid games, such as the beloved butt tag. 
Turns out they had nothing to be nervous about. This may come as quite a shock to them, but they were very easy to photograph.
We can't wait to photograph them again next year when we share in their most special day!
