I first met Vanessa and Dave when we photographed their engagement shoot at Harkness Park. Of course, we had to reschedule like 5 times because it was always raining.
So it was no surprise that on the day of their wedding some drops would fall from the sky. And by some we mean a deluge, with thunder and lightning. The works!
But this didn't damper the mood at all for these two. Vanessa is the definition of optimism, and knew in her heart that the rain would stop before the ceremony.
Good thing because she had quite the surprise for her guests.
Most brides roll in with a limo, some with a fancy classic car.
Vanessa flew in on a private helicopter!

Of course she was right, the rain had at least for the time being stopped.
Vanessa tried to hold it together through the funny and emotional ceremony.
The rest of the night was all about the party - and DJ Marty, as always kept the crowd going.
Though they didn't need much prodding as they came ready to dance!

We have been so lucky to have had the chance to work with Vanessa & Dave for their engagement and now their wedding.
They are a great down to earth couple and we so happy to have been their to witness the joyful occasion with their friends and family.
