We celebrated the union of Emily & Chris at the beautiful Harkness Memorial Park located in Waterford, Connecticut.
The grounds feature scenic views of the ocean, mature trees and various gardens that complement the historic Eolia mansion where guests enjoyed dinner and dancing.
The ceremony was held during golden hour at the ampitheater that over looks the ocean. Emily was escorted from the mansion to the ceremony site via a fabulous 1940 Pontiac driven by her father.
Chris, who has the worlds largest smile was grinning from ear to ear as his soon to be bride was escorted down the aisle.
Emily's mother could be seen shedding tears as the couple exchanged vows and rings.

The most difficult part about shooting at Harkness is deciding which spots you want to focus on. There's so many amazing angles, and countless nooks to shoot in.
We decided on using the front of the mansion with the Pontiac and bridal party which created this dramatic old world looking photo that could easily have been 1947 as it was 2017.

The reception was relaxed as Chris and Emily kicked everything off with a first dance in the tented dance area. Emily's sister Stephanie was a bit choked up getting through her toast and Chris's best man got the crowd laughing with a witty and sweet toast to the couple.
Most couple's feature one cake. Emily & Chris had a whole assortment of cakes that looked like they should be featured in a bridal magazine made by none other than the grooms mother Pam.
If you arrived early enough you could have seen her putting together the finishing touches just before the ceremony.

After Hours DJ Peter got the crowd on the floor with a classic anniversary dance that was finished with special words from the grooms mother on a successful marriage. "The woman's always right."

We want to thank Emily and Chris and everyone involved for all the cooperation and support.
We had an absolute blast with this fun loving couple and wish them all the best!
Enjoy!
