I had so much fun with this engagement shoot! For one, Bill & Christine are a couple you could spend hours talking with. They are witty, fun, and have a style all their own. In my opinion, trying to capture a couple's personality is the foundation to creating awesome pictures. I knew from following Christine on Facebook that her and Bill (or Bob as I nicknamed him) had a unique sense of humor and a cool sense of style. I really wanted to capture their personalities and mix it with some of the dramatic shots I love to create. We started off at the book barn in Niantic, a favorite spot of Bill & Christine. We moved around to the center of town, visiting an old school movie theater, stopping along the various shops before we ended up in the woods of Rocky Neck state park. The end result was these really cool images. Maybe it was Christine's cool sunglasses or maybe it was Bill's Converse kicks, but there is a retro vibe to them I really love.  Either way I had a great time, and was even treated to an after shoot beer.

I think of all the pictures, this one best describes Bill & Christine as a couple.  The male sense of humor is something to be observed.
